About LyndaI graduated with an MA in counselling psychology from the University of British Columbia and have been a relationship counsellor for the past 20 years. I have a private practice in a wonderful little village in Ladner, British Columbia, Canada. I was privileged to be supervised and mentored by some great people during this time, all of whom have contributed to my knowledge and expertise.

Part of the fun of being a therapist is the opportunity for constant education. I have had some great education at the Gottman Institute where I studied to the advanced level. I enjoy keeping up with the latest research which yearly trips to the Gottman workshops helps to accomplish. I admire Dan Wile’s work and Sue Johnson’s emotion-focussed work both of which help with relationships.

My main focus has been couples for many years now. I have recently found more and more people in their boomer years looking for a relationship and feeling quite lost and discouraged when it comes to online dating. I made the decision to help them catch up a bit on the psychology of being a great partner choice, choosing well in relationships as well as hints on how to online date more successfully.
